TuneIn is an app that allows you to listen to music, sports, news and most importantly podcasts from almost any device!
It’s available in select cars by manufactures such as Ford, Chevy, and Tesla. The app is also available for most smartphones, tablets and many smartTV’s. In other words TuneIn gives your podcast a very large potential reach of new listeners (over 40 million so 
far).
Here’s how to submit your podcast to their catalog.
Email: broadcaster-support@tunein.com
Include the following:
- Show Title:
- Location:
- Logo: (Attach to email a 600×600 pixel JPG or PNG file)
- XML or RSS Feed URL:
- Website URL:
- Genre:
- Email:
- Twitter Handle:
And if you’re feeling thankful, apparently the person entering all this info manually is named Drew. Tell him thanks;)
My show was accepted and cataloged in less than a day after submitting my information. Your experience may vary, be patient, but it should happen relatively quick.
As an example, here is how I would fill in the required information for one of my shows (your details will be different).
- Show Title: The Podcasters’ Studio
- Location: Washington, D.C.
- Logo: (Attach to email a 600×600 pixel JPG or PNG file)
- XML or RSS Feed URL: https://thepodcastersstudio.com/category/podcasts/thepodcastersstudio/feed/
- Website URL: https://thepodcastersstudio.com
- Genre: Podcasting
- Email: Ray@thepodcastersstudio.com
- Twitter Handle: @PodcastHelper

I had submitted 3 previous times on their website form. Guess there's nothing like someone hand-keying it in. 🙂
I've submitted my podcast 3 times via their web page form, and got 3 "welcome" e-mails, but am still not in there. I tried just e-mailing the guy, but still no results. Searching for my podcast on TuneIn doesn't show it.
Wonder what the issue is.
It\’s likely just a time issue. I\’ve seen some people get in quickly and others take a few weeks to a month. It\’d probably due to demand. I\’d give it more time and see what happens.

Can i submit a podcast with one file on my feed?
You should be able to, yes. Give it a shot and see what happens. If for some reason you are rejected, they will either tell you why or you can try again after you have a few episodes in your feed.

Technically you don\’t need a website to podcast so I don\’t imagine you would need one. I would put down one of your sites like facebook so they can link somewhere for people to get in touch with you.

Thanks Hira. It's a good question. I would imagine that the same library would be available across apps but I'm not 100%.
Excuse my ignorance but how do I supply a rss url that tunein will accept? I’ve generated two at the meloncholy site and tunein has written me back and said this: Those two links you’ve sent include links to the audio, but they don’t host the audio files themselves. This means we cannot use them. We need the links to the raw rss feeds.
Mixcloud hosts them, they are obviously there and tunein knows this, so what am I not understanding or missing?
The key is that you are not submitting a podcast ready RSS feed. Mixcloud should provide this for you however you want to be careful. If they don’t give you the ability to redirect your feed if you end up wanting to change hosts then you don’t want to use their feed. In other words, you don’t want a situation where they hold your feed hostage (I had a friend check and he didn’t see a way to redirect but you can ask them). Another way to create a podcast ready RSS feed would be to use WordPress with the Powerpress plugin.

Your feed comes from either your website or your podcast media host. Whatever feed address you submitted to iTunes etc. Same one.

I have a station on TuneIn and a radio show/podcast which I am an affiliate for has attached their show/podcast to my station. I would like also to attach MY OWN new podcast as a “program” on my own already running station.
I understand the procedure for submitting the podcast (program), but how do I submit it to get attached to my TuneIn station?
