Creating a free Gravatar account for your podcast, will allow you to automatically insert your branded logo or personal image alongside comments you make on the internet.
For example, if you leave a comment below this post and you have a Gravatar account, when you type your email into the email section of the submission, a Gravatar logo (one that you’ve chosen) will also appear with your comment. This alleviates the need to upload a separate avatar. Many websites won’t even have that option. A Gravatar handles this for you, saving you time and increasing the visibility of your show.
This is a quick and easy way to associated your branding (podcast logo) with comments you leave on other websites. This can also apply to comments made at forums. Anywhere a website supports Gravatar (made by the makers of WordPress) your image will appear.
